하나님이 함께하시는 가정

시128:1-4

생명의 말씀

“여호와를 경외하며 그 도에 행하는 자마다 복이 있도다 네가 네 손이 수고한 대로 먹을 것이라 네가 복되고 형통하리로다 네 집 내실에 있는 네 아내는 결실한 포도나무 같으며 네 상에 둘린 자식은 어린 감람나무 같으리로다 여호와를 경외하는 자는 이같이 복을 얻으리로다”

오늘 본문 말씀은 하나님께서 함께 하시는 축복받은 가정의 모습을 세 가지로 설명해 주고 있습니다. 첫째는 하나님을 경외하며 그 말씀대로 사는 가정이 가장 축복받은 가정이라는 것입니다. 본문 1절에 보면 “여호와를 경외하며 그 도에 행하는 자마다 복이 있도다”라고 하였습니다. 이는 오직 살아계신 하나님만을 섬기는 것이 삶의 기초임을 믿는 가정의 모습입니다. 시127:1절에도 “여호와께서 집을 세우지 아니하시면 세우는 자의 수고가 헛되다”고 하셨습니다. 그러므로 오직 하나님만을 가정의 기초로 믿고 살아가는 자야말로 가장 행복자이며 진정으로 하나님의 축복받은 가정이 됩니다.

둘째는, 자기 수고의 결과를 누리는 가정이 축복받은 가정입니다. 전도서 기자가 말하기를 해 아래 가장 큰 폐단이 있다면 부족함이 없는 재물과 부요와 존귀를 받았음에도 불구하고 누리지 못하고 이를 다른 사람에 누리는 것이라 하였습니다(전6:1-2). 그러므로 하나님께 축복받은 가정은 그 모든 식구들이 땀흘려 일한대로 자기의 수고의 결과를 누리는 가정입니다.

끝으로 거룩한 시온의 대로가 있는 가정이 복된 가정입니다. 본문 5절 말씀과 같이 하나님께서는 시온에서 복을 주신다고 하였습니다. 이 말씀은 곧 거룩한 시온의 대로가 있는 가정이 하나님의 축복을 받을 수 있다는 뜻입니다. 시온은 하나님의 임재의 장소요 성전이 중심에 자리 잡고 있는 곳입니다. 그러므로 하나님의 복된 가정은 아름다운 예수 그리스도의 십자가 피로 사신 교회, 시온과 같고 예루살렘과 같은 교회입니다. 이곳에서 자녀들을 양육시켜야 합니다. 교회에서 선포되는 말씀으로 정확히 가르칠 때 축복받은 가정이 됩니다. 이처럼 자녀들을 하나님의 말씀으로 올바르게 교육시키는 것이 부모들의 중요한 책무이며 동시에 하나님의 축복받은 가정이 되는 비결입니다.

오늘 하루도 먼저 하나님을 경외하고 각자의 가정과 자녀들의 심령 속에 시온의 대로가 뚫려 하나님께서 주시는 복을 받아 누릴 수 있기를 위해 기도하십시오.

Psalm 128:1-4

The Word of Life

Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in obedience to him. 2You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours.3your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house; your children will be like olive shoots around your table.4Yes, this will be the blessing for the man who fears the Lord.

Today’s main scripture reading explains the image of three families that received the blessing of God abiding with them. It says in verse 1 that “blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in obedience to him”. This is the image of a household that puts their foundation on only worshipping the living God. In Psalm 127:1 it says that “unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.” Therefore only the household who only believes in God as the foundation of their household holds true happiness and is a family that had truly received the blessing of God.

Second, the household that enjoys the results of their labor and toil is a blessed household. The author of Ecclesiastes said in Ecclesiastes 6:1-2 “I have seen another evil under the sun, and it weighs heavily on mankind: 2God gives some people wealth, possessions and honor, so that they lack nothing their hearts desire, but God does not grant them the ability to enjoy them, and strangers enjoy them instead. This is meaningless, a grievous evil.” Therefore the household that has been blessed by God is a household that works hard as a family and enjoys the fruit of their toil.

Lastly, the household that has the path to Zion is a blessed household. Like verse 5 of the main scripture reading God said He’ll bless us from Zion. This Word signifies that the family who has the road to Zion will be able to receive God’s blessings. Zion is a place of God’s residence and it is also the place where the temple is situated at the center. Thus the blessed household of God is like a church that has been bought through the beautiful blood of Jesus Christ that was shed upon the cross, and is a church that is like Zion and Jerusalem. We must raise our children here in this place. When we teach the word that is proclaimed at church correctly then we become a blessed household. Likewise educating our children upright through the Word of God is an important task of a parent and also the secret to becoming the blessed household of God.

Prayer Title

Pray that today you will be able to first revere God and within each and every one of us including our families and children the road to Zion will be opened up so that we will be able to receive and enjoy the blessings that God gives us.
