기도하는 사람은 살고

눅21:36

생명의 말씀

“이러므로 너희는 장차 올 이 모든 일을 능히 피하고 인자 앞에 서도록 항상 기도하며 깨어 있으라 하시니라”

성경의 역사관은 ‘종말관’을 말씀하고 있습니다. 의인에게는 생명의 부활을, 악인에게는 심판의 부활을 말씀하셨는 바, 이 마지막 환난을 피할 자는 아무도 없습니다. 주님의 환난을 피하고 주 앞에 서는 길은 오직 하나님의 말씀밖에 없습니다. 말씀이 가라면 가고 서라면 설 때 그 순종 자체가 피난처가 됩니다. 기도할 때만 이 말씀은 우리 편이 되어 주십니다. 깨어있는 산 기도만이 우리를 살릴 수 있습니다.

아담 타락 이후 인간의 삶은 언제나 불안과 공포, 암담함 뿐입니다. 죄의 결과로 땅은 저주받아 가시와 엉겅퀴를 낼 수밖에 없게 되었습니다. 인간의 생활 그 어디에도 이 가시와 엉겅퀴가 있게 마련입니다. 따라서 기도 외에는 해결이 안됩니다. 죄악의 길에서 돌이켜 하나님의 뜻대로 살려는 몸부림이 있어야 합니다. 히스기야 왕은 산헤립이 보낸 편지를 성전에 펼치고 기도할 때, 하나님께서는 앗수르 군대 18만 5천명을 죽이는 이적을 보여주셨습니다. 이처럼 기도할 때 우리의 죄 문제가 사함받고 해결받게 됩니다.

겸허한 기도는 하나님께서 기뻐하시는 바입니다. 무시로 깨어서 구하기를 힘쓸 때 하나님은 도움의 손길을 거두지 않으십니다(엡6:18). 목적과 뜻을 정하고 기도했으면 진격을 해야 합니다. 그래야 성취할 수가 있습니다. 끝장을 보는 기도를 해야 한다는 의미입니다. 기도 쉬는 죄를 범하고 위급할 때만 주를 찾는 기도는 응답을 받을 수 없습니다. 따라서 겸손한 기도는 언제나 주님을 가까이 모시고 그 이름을 의지하면서 응답을 기대하는 기도입니다.

기도의 가닥이 잡히지 않고 마음의 안정이 없어 기도하지 못하게 될 때 주님은 성령을 통한 간구의 길을 열어 놓으셨습니다(롬8:26). 성령을 통한 기도이기에 이 기도는 올바를 수밖에 없습니다. 올바른 기도는 깨어서 기도하는 것입니다(마21:22). 하나님의 뜻대로 구하는 기도입니다(요14:13-14). 이처럼 믿음의 기도는 형통의 응답을 받고, 질병에서 해방되며 소원이 성취됩니다. 그러므로 오직 기도밖에 살 길이 없습니다.

믿음의 기도에는 불가능이 없습니다. 어떠한 환난과 어려움이 있다 해도 기도하는 사람은 삽니다. 오늘 하루 이런 생명의 능력을 체험하도록 기도하십시오.

The Word of Life

“Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.”

The historical view that the Bible speaks of is the “end”. There will be a resurrection of life for the righteous and a resurrection of judgment for the wicked on the last day and nobody will be able to escape this wrath. The only way to escape the wrath of the Lord and stand before him is the Word of God. When we stop and go according to the Word that obedience to the Word itself will become our refuge. He will only be on our side when we pray. Only a prayer that is awake will be able to save us.

After the fall of Adam the life of mankind is only full of uncertainty, fear and hopeless. As a result of sin, cursed was the land and it was only able to produce thorns and thistles. These thorns and thistles exist in different parts of our lives hence without prayer we cannot solve them. We must make an effort to turn around from the path of sin and live according to the Word of God. When King Hezekiah scattered the letters that he had received from Sennacherib and prayed he was able to experience the miracle of God that killed 185 thousand Assyrian soldiers. Likewise when we pray for our problems all of the problems of our sins will be relieved.

God is pleased with humble prayer. God will not take away His helping hand upon those who are constantly awake in prayer (Eph 6:18). If you have prayed for a set purpose and/or will you must advance on. This means that we must pray till the end. When we commit the sin of ceasing prayer and only seek the Lord when we are desperate that prayer won’t be answered.

When we aren’t able to pray because our hearts aren’t stable the Lord opens up the way for us to seek through the Holy Spirit (Rom 8:26). This prayer is correct because it is done through the Holy Spirit. A correct prayer is a prayer that is done while awake (Matt 21:22) and a prayer that seeks according to the will of God (John 14:13-14). Likewise the prayer of faith will enable a prosperous reply, free us from all illness and make our hopes come true thus the only way to live is through prayer.

Prayer Title

There is nothing impossible to a prayer of faith. Whatever sufferings and difficulties there are the one who prays will live. Pray that today you will be able to experience this power of life.
