02 구속사 시리즈의 기록
The Recording of the History of Redemption Series
상이용사로 전역 후, 박윤식 목사님은 마산에서 감리교 서리 전도사로 목회를 시작하였습니다. 목회 사역중, “예수 그리스도의 피가 골고다 언덕에 남아있는 것도 아닌데 어떻게 인류를 구원합니까?”라는 한 청년의 질문에 대해 만족스럽게 설명 못한 것이 계기가 되어 박윤식 목사님은 산에 들어가 오직 성경과 기도로 하나님의 말씀을 깊이 깨닫고자 결심하였습니다.
After his discharge as a veteran, Rev. Abraham Park began his ministry as an evangelist at a Methodist church in Masan. During this time, a young man approached him and asked, “The blood of Jesus Christ is no longer on the hill of Golgotha, so how can it save all of mankind?” Because he could not fully answer the young man’s question, he went up a mountain with the determination to deeply understand the Word of God through Scripture and prayer alone.
이에 박윤식 목사님은 장안산(전북 장수)에서 47일간 기도한 후, 지리산으로 옮겨 3년 6개월 7일 동안 지리산 정상 천왕봉 조금 아래에 위치한 동굴에서 기도와 성경읽기에 매진하였습니다. 낮에는 성경을 읽고 밤에는 기도하는 가운데, 성령의 강한 조명을 통해 깨달아지는 것들을 원고에 적고, 원고가 없을 때는 칡넝쿨 잎에 적어 싸리 나무에 꿰어 두었다가 다시 원고지를 구해서 정리하기를 반복했습니다. 박윤식 목사님이 산을 내려올 때는 어느덧 키만한 높이의 원고가 되었고, 칡넝쿨 잎에 적혀있던 글들이 원고지로 옮겨지고, 낡아 바스라지는 원고지에서 다시 노트로 옮겨지기를 수 없이 반복하며 새로운 은혜들을 정리하고 추가하면서 오늘날 <구속사 시리즈>가 출간된 것입니다.
Rev. Park prayed for 47 days on Mt. Jangan (Jangsu, Jeonbuk Province). He then moved to a cave located slightly beneath the summit of Mt. Jiri, where he spent 3 years, 6 months, and 7 days to devote himself into prayer and reading the Scriptures. As he read the Bible during the day and prayed at night, he began to write down what was revealed to him through the powerful illumination of the Holy Spirit. When paper was unavailable, he wrote on arrowroot leaves and stuck them onto bush clovers, later transferring what he wrote onto paper. By the time Rev. Park came down from the mountain, his stacked manuscripts were as tall as his own height. During the repeated process of transcribing the words from arrowroot leaves to paper and once again over to notebooks, Rev. Park continuously revised and supplemented the contents with deepening grace. This became the manuscripts for today’s History of Redemption series.
