05 구속사 말씀 중심의 교회 설립
Churches Established Upon the Word
of Redemptive History
1992년 5월에 오류동으로 교회를 이전한 후, 세계선교 활동이 본격적으로 궤도에 올랐습니다. 박윤식 목사님은 미국과 캐나다 등 북미 70여곳과 브라질과 칠레, 볼리비아는 물론, 호주와 인도네시아, 말레이시아, 싱가포르, 영국, 프랑스, 독일, 스위스, 일본, 중국 등에 230개 교회를 설립하였습니다. 1997년 8월에는 ‘세계선교 300교회 돌파 기념성회’를 통해 40여년의 결실을 감사하는 자리를 가졌습니다.
After the church moved to Oryu-dong in 1991, the far-reaching global missions activities began. Rev. Park built 70 churches in the United States and Canada. Some 230 churches were also established in Brazil, Chile, Bolivia, Australia, Indonesia, Singapore, France, Germany, Switzerland, and Japan. In August 1997, a “Commemorative Celebration for the 300 churches in the Global Ministry” was held to give thanks for the bounty of harvest reaped during the 40 years of global missions work.
박윤식 목사님은 1년에도 몇 차례씩 국내외 교회들을 돌면서 말씀을 선포하고, 교회를 든든하게 세우고 성도들을 위로하였습니다. 조금의 휴식이나 자투리 시간도 용납 없이 장시간의 비행이 끝나면 곧바로 강단에 서고, 성도들을 만난 후에 바로 다음 교회로 이동하는 강행군이었습니다. 먼 거리에서도 사랑과 기도로 양육된 국내와 세계 각지의 교회들은 <구속사 시리즈> 출판 후, 예수 그리스도의 구속사 말씀이 증거되는 전진기지가 되었습니다.
Rev. Abraham Park would visit these churches several times every year to preach the Word, strengthen the churches, and comfort the saints. His mission trip schedules were so rigorous that he did not allow himself even a short break. As soon as he arrived from a long flight, he would immediately go up to the pulpit and meet the congregation, then leaving for another church in the next location. Despite the long distance, the churches in both Korea and overseas grew in nurturing love and prayer. With the publication of the History of Redemption series, these churches became secure footholds in spreading the gospel of redemptive history.
