04 구속사 말씀 중심의 목회
A Ministry Centered on the Word of Redemptive History
사도행전 12:24, 19:20은 초대교회의 폭발적인 부흥의 원인에 대해서 ‘하나님의 말씀’이 힘이 있었기 때문이라고 말씀하고 있습니다. 이처럼 박윤식 목사님의 목회 사역 가운데에는 구속사 말씀이 선포되며 폭발적인 교회의 성장이 거듭되었습니다.
Acts 12:24 and 19:20 state that the early church grew explosively because of the power of God’s Word. Similarly, Rev. Abraham Park’s ministry experienced such explosive growth through the preaching of the Word of redemptive history.
박윤식 목사님은 지리산을 내려온 후에 4명의 성도가 모인 가정교회에서 새로 목회를 출발하였습니다.
가정집에서 예배를 드리던 것도 잠시, 성도는 금세 60-70명으로 불어나 야외에 천막을 치고 예배를 드려야만 했습니다. 그러던 1969년 9월, ‘시온산 한돌교회’라는 이름으로 대방동에 최초의 교회를 건축하자 다시 130여명이 모여 공간이 부족해졌고, 1971년 11월 ‘일석교회’라는 새 이름으로 신림동에 교회를 신축하였습니다. 이후 계속된 부흥의 역사로 약 6년 만인 1977년 7월에는 노량진에 약 1,000평 부지를 매입하여 교회 이름을 ‘대성교회’(大聲敎會)라는 이름으로 변경하며 ‘큰 소리’(大聲)로 하나님의 말씀을 선포하였습니다. 불과 3년 만에 대성교회는 포화상태가 되었고, 예배실 밖에도 의자를 놓고 예배를 드릴 정도가 되었습니다. 10년에 걸친 새 성전을 위한 기도와 준비 끝에, 1992년 5월 현재의 오류동 부지로 이전하여 1995년 1월 현재의 ‘평강제일교회’로 이름을 변경하였습니다.
After coming down from Mt. Jiri, Rev. Park began his ministry at a home with only four members. That moment lasted very briefly, for the number quickly grew to 60-70 members and they had to worship in a tent outside.
On September 1969, the first church was built in Daebang and named “Mt. Zion One Rock Church.” The space quickly became cramped with about 130 people pouring in, so in November 1971 a new church named “Ilsuk” was built in Sillim. The church kept growing and only after six years in July 1977, it again moved to a bigger area, a 35,000 sq. ft. site in Noryangjin. The church in Noryangjin was named “Daesung (loud voice),” invoking its mission to spread the Word of God with a great voice. Only three years later, the new sanctuary became completely full and the church went into a ten-year-long prayer and preparation for a new sanctuary. At last, the church relocated to the current Oryu-dong site in May 1992, renamed “Pyungkang Cheil Church” on January 1995.
